1) Do I need an account to purchase a product?
Yes, you will need an account in the portal to purchase a product. In order to add items to your shopping cart and make a purchase, you may create an account by registering and can enjoy value added features at our shop.
To set up an account, go to ‘Signup’ at drop menu of guest user on the top right corner of the page http://golkondashop.telangana.gov.in or you may continue with existing facebook or google account.
Guest User: Guest user can also select a product from the site and they may register using contact number and valid email id (eg. email@example.com) at checkout.
2) How to order?
We have taken every care to ensure that your shopping experience at Golkonda Shop is designed to be convenient and intuitive. Here are a few basic steps involved in placing an order after logging into your account:
Step 1 - Adding Items to your Shopping Cart
1. When you are ready to add an item to your shopping cart, click on the ‘Add to Cart’ button.
2. A dropdown menu of cart appears at right corner to continue shopping or checkout. The “continue shopping” link will allow you to continue shopping, while the “proceed to checkout” button will proceed straight to checkout process. If you change your mind and want to continue browsing you may do so at any moment during the checkout process also.
3. If you have any promotional discount coupons you have to enter the same in “enter coupon code” entry field (multiple coupons are not allowed)
4. You can continue to add items to your shopping cart until you are ready to Checkout.
Step 2 - Reviewing and Changing the items in your Shopping Cart
1. You can review and/or change the items in your shopping cart at any time.
2. To delete an item from your cart, simply click the ‘Remove’ button or you can also reduce / increase the quantity selected.
3. Once you are satisfied with your order, you can proceed to the chec out process by clicking on “Proceed to Checkout” on the Shopping Cart page. This takes you to the Checkout page.
Step 3 – Verify ‘billing’ and ‘delivery’ address
1. You must enter the billing address in this step. In most cases, the billing address and delivery address may be the same.
2. If your delivery address is different from the billing address, you must uncheck the box of “ship to this address field” on right side and specify a different delivery address¬¬¬
3. You may also specify any special order comments you have in the ‘Order Comments’ box.
There is no comment box which to be added.
Step 4 – Payment for the order
1) How do I know my order has been confirmed?
Once your payment has been successfully made, you will see the confirmation screen with your order number. Please note down the order number for future references (Golkonda Shop will also send a confirmation mail for your order to the email address associated with your Golkonda Shop account). In this mail you will be provided with a unique Order ID with an expected time of delivery. Our team will verify the order and your order will be processed internally. Also you will receive SMS confirmation of order placed.
2) Is it possible to order a product that is 'Sold Out'?
Unfortunately, if a product is marked as “Sold Out”, it means that it is not available for sale currently.
1) How do I check the current status of my orders?
You can review the status of all orders that you have placed with us. To check the status of your pending orders, click on the “Login” link on the top right corner of the page and login to your account. After logging in, you may click on the “Orders” link to view the status of all your orders. To view the status of a specific order, click on the “Order id”. After your order is shipped out from our warehouse, we will send you a mail with the shipping details of consignment note and URL link for further tracking.
For Guest Users:
Guest users can track their Orders, using Order # and URL id provided by the golkondashop to track the order.
2) What do the different order status mean? (To be verify before launching)
● Processing: Your order has been successfully placed and it is under processing.
● Item Picked: Item Picked for Packing
● Packing Done: Packing completed and ready for booking through India Post
● Under Shipment: Your Order has been shipped out and is on its way to your delivery location
● Out for Delivery: Order is Out for Delivery to the Customer.
● Completed: Your order has been delivered at your specified delivery location.
3) How can I track the delivery of my order?
All Golkonda Shop orders are delivered through India Post. Golkonda Shop will share the Consignment Note # with URL Link provided by India Post. User can track the consignment using India Post link for the Order.
4) How do I make a payment for Golkonda Shop purchase?
Golkonda Shop offers multiple options to make payments for your orders including via Credit/Debit/Rupay Card, Net Banking and UPI. The payment transaction details are remains in confidential and secure.
5) How do I pay online transactions and is it safe?
We accept all Cards both Indian and International. Customers must key in their 16-digit Credit/Debit Card number and the 3 digit CVV Code (Card Verification Value - found on the back of the card) to complete the payment flow. All Credit/Debit card details remain confidential and secure. Customers required to follow the payment gateway process.
6) Am I allowed to change the mode of payment?
No. Once you have made the payments, you cannot change to another mode.
Packaging, Shipping and Delivery:
1) How the items packaged?
All items are carefully packaged at our showroom so as to avoid any form of damage.
2) What are the delivery charges for shipment of goods?
Golkonda Shop provides free Packing and Forwarding on all Orders with in India. For international orders, Packing charges and shipping charges will be added to the total cost of the products before making the final payment for the order. Shipping charges for international orders will vary from country to country.
3) What is the estimated delivery time? Golkonda Shop to provide info on International shipment. The estimated time of delivery is between 7-10 working days for domestic orders and varies from country to country for international orders.
4) How will the delivery be done?
Golkonda Shop has tied up with India Post for delivery of its orders, domestic and International. Your order will be shipped through speed post, postal parcel service, and will be delivered to your doorstep by the postal department.
5) Does Golkonda Shop deliver internationally?
Currently Shipping in India Only. Planning to deliver internationally after few months from now.
1). Cancellation policy:
Orders once placed on the site cannot be cancelled.
To finalize this section after reviewing the Insurance policy
2). Return Policy:
a). Products once Sold will not be taken back and Amount will not be refunded.
b). No Refund of money or replacement of products done, for unopened orders returned back to Golkonda Shop.
3). Claim Policy for Damaged Product (In case of items received in damaged condition)
a) Please inform Golkonda Shop customer care call center No (Mon- Sat, 24x7 support (_________________ ) or email (_____________)immediately on the receipt of the product about your grievances related to damage or defects within 24 hours of receipt of product.
b). Required Insurance Guidelines:
c). Please retain the original sales bill, packing material including Product tags, labels etc., Inspection by authorized person from Insurance company, will endorse for the claim.
d). Golkonda Shop will not be responsible for claims, Customer need to claim for the damage directly from Insurance Company.
